Anna: Steamboat Springs is 6,732 feet above sea level. According to the Farmer’s Almanac, the last day of spring frost is predicted to be June 27 and the first fall frost date is August 30. That means that for 63 days out of the year, we can grow outside. I started this blog to help the everyday person enjoy gardening. I will be doing tutorials on how to start a garden, giving tips on what grows well on decks and outlining problems and troubleshooting for high altitude gardeners.
